Dell launching smartphone in China this year

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 15, 2009

Recently shot down by US media as boring, the Dell smartphone is apparently headed to China. Word leaked out recently that Dell was working on a smartphone but the US media was not impressed. It looks like Dell is taking their show to China.

Reuters is reporting that Dell will launch multiple smartphones in the Chinese market before by the end of the year. The company is apparently working with Chi Mei Communications on the hardware and China-based Red Office on the operating system.
