Verizon to launch HTC Touch Pro November 24

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - November 13, 2008

According to an anonymous tipster, Verizon is about to launch their own version of the HTC Touch Pro. They will follow Sprint and AT&T with the launch of this phone. The launch will supposedly happen on November 24. The stores won't have the store in stock until December 1, but online ordering will be available on November 24.

The HTC Touch Pro will sell for $350 after a two-year contract and mail-in rebates. This is $50 more than what AT&T and Sprint are charging. I guess Verizon figures you won't change carriers over $50. The Verizon version of the Touch Pro will not include the accelerometer and will only have 192 MB of RAM. Sprint's version does have the accelerometer and more RAM.
