News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - January 17, 2008

There are rumors out of Italy that Samsung is developing a Windows Mobile based phone that rivals the iPhone. Italian website KataWeb says it has received information that Samsung is developing a Windows Mobile smartphone expected to be called the Samsung SGH-i900. According to the report, the i900 features Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as UMTS/HSDPA. Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi round out the i900.

Is the rumor true? We'll have to wait and see but it sure sounds interesting.
