Dopod to Release 838Pro Pocket PC Phone

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 03, 2006

Dopod is set to release the Dopod 838Pro Pocket PC Phone. Based on the HTC Hermes design, the Dopod adds some cool features. The most noticeable feature is the addition of a 360-degree jog wheel that makes scrolling through the Internet and email a lot easier.

The Dopod 838Pro is a 3G-enabled quadband GSM smartphone that supports EDGE, GPRS, and even the new HSDPA. It includes WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 as well. The 838Pro is also able to do Microsoft's push e-mail. It comes with 128MB of ROM, and 64MB of RAM, and includes a 2 megapixel camera. Look for this one to hit the stores in the second week of August.
