Airport Check-in Via MMS

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 09, 2006

This could be the way we all check-in to our flights in the coming years. The German Airline (Deutsche BA) is said to be offering a new way to check-in to your flights, without a paper ticket. Users who signup for the service will receive an MMS message 3 hours before the flight. An image of a barcode will be included in the message that users can place over a scanner at the gate. Is this process secure? Hope so.

Rumor has it that Lufthansa will also offer this service sometime this summer.
