Samsung SGH-i718

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new smartphone powered by Windows OS - the SGH-i718 for the Chinese market, at the ITU Telecom World 2006 in Hong Kong. The device has been recently approved by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) but there is no word on if or when this phone will hit the US.

The Samsung SGH-i718 is a GSM, EDGE, GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)capable device running on Windows Mobile 5.0. It has a 2 MP camera and a 2.8" TFT display. It comes with 128 MB or ROM and 64 MB of RAM and has a slot for microSD cards.
