No More Wireless Sync With ActiveSync 4.0

According to PocketPCThoughts.com, Microsoft is scrapping the ability to sync wirelessly in the latest version of ActiveSync 4.0. If this is true it is absolutely crazy.

One of the coolest things about my Pocket PC is that I can sync it without the cradle. I sync it right over my WiFi connection all the time. The latest version will not allow any synchronization over a TCP/IP connection which means no WiFi, VPN or other LAN sychronization is available. This one feature alone definitely impacts whether or not I'll purchase a new Windows Mobile device.
