HP has released a software update that fixes some small bugs in the iPAQ hx4700 series, again. The update was previously released last month but a few driver installation problems caused HP to pull the update. The update has been fixed ans has returned to the HP web site.
The update will make sure that third-party applications that generate a very high volume will not damage the speaker. It also fixes a bug that causes the Microphone Automatic Gain Control setting to not be saved after a power cycle.
The HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx4700 Series Audio Driver Update can downloaded from HP's web site.
