Motorola MPx220 Smartphone Delayed

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 03, 2004

There have been several rumors about when the new MPx220 (an upgrade to the MPx200) smart phone would be released. Several sites reported a release date at the end of the first quarter of 2004, but now it looks like the new MPx220 will not be around for awhile longer.

DigiTimes is reporting that the MPx220 won't be available until June 2004.

The MPx220 is expected to include several upgrades to the MPx200. The major additions will be Bluetooth and a VGA camera. In addition, the MPx220 will have 10 MB of RAM and an SD card slot, which is expected to support SDIO.
