New Pocket PC Phone From E-TEN

Taiwanese company E-TEN has just announced a new Pocket PC Phone, the M500. The M500 will run Windows Mobile 2003 SE for Pocket PC Phone Edition on a 400 MHz Samsung S3C2440 processor, and include 64 MB of RAM. It will also have an SD/SDIO card slot for additional expansion.

The M500 will be a GSM/GPRS device supporting 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

Other features include a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera that can take pictures with at 1280-by-960-pixel resolution and record video. It will also include Bluetooth wireless networking.

The M500 will measure 4.4 x 2.4 x 0.9 inches (11.2 cm by 6.1 cm by 22 mm) and will weigh 6 ounces (170 g), making it a fairly small Pocket PC Phone.

No carrier or price information has been released at this time.
