Toshiba has announced the Genio e550GS in Japan. This new Pocket PC comes with a large 4" screen, 128mb of RAM, 400 MHz processor, and yes a digital camera. The camera is built in to the back of the unit much like the new Sony Ericsson p800 cell phones. The enables you to hold the device like a standard camera for ease of use.
Other features of the e550GS include:
- Jog dial/rocker switch
- Flip cover
- Compact Flash Type II slot
- SD/MMC slot
- Intel XScale chip with faster bus.
No word yet on whether or not the e550GS will be available in the US but it will sell for about $640US in Japan.
