News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 20, 2003

At the Microsoft Mobility Developers Conference being held in conjunction with CTIA's Wireless 2003 Conference, ViewSonic Corp. has announced a new Pocket PC PDA. The V37 will be a step above the current V35 that Viewsonic offers.

ViewSonic's new Pocket PC will feature .NET Compact Framework pre-installed. This is basically a mobile version of Microsoft's .NET software that allows the use of web services. The V37 will boast a 400MHz processor, along with 64MB of ROM and 64MB SDRAM. An optional SDIO WiFi card will be made available for the V37 shortly after product launch.

The price and date of launch is not known at this time.
