Fujitsu's SVGA PDA Prototype

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - November 18, 2003

Fujitsu has posted information on its Japanese web site about a prototype handheld with a Super VGA 800 x 600 pixel resolution display. Other companies have recently announced VGA resolutions but this is three times the amount of pixels found in PDAs with 320 x 480 resolution displays.

The Fujitsu prototype announcement comes less than a month after Toshiba introduced its e805 PDA, the first Pocket PC to offer a 640 x 480 (VGA) display.

According to Fujitsu, the handheld prototype also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technologies as well as a CompactFlash slot.
