Weave, a popular Windows Phone newsreader app, is shutting down on March 14. Seles Games made the announcement on Twitter. No reason was given for the shutdown, but it could be the Windows Phone user base might not have been large enough for the developers to devote time to. Hopefully, Microsoft's Windows 10 efforts will help with that issue.
Several tweets were sent out thanking the users and Microsoft for the "amazing ride" over the past 5 years.

It's never a good day when an app developer shuts down an app. Windows Phone cannot afford to lose any apps at this point. This is a sad day for WP.
