Tango was one of the first VoIP apps for Windows Phone, but the company has not jumped on the Windows 8 bandwagon. Tango is currently available on Windows Phone 7, as well as Android and iOS, but what about Windows Phone 8?
Tango is in a wait and watch mode when it comes to Windows Phone 8. In a recent interview with TruTower the company admitted that they are on the sidelines for now.
Like every other app developer Tango has a limit on its resources. It only makes sense to point those resources into new platforms if they believe the platform will take off. At this point Windows Phone 8 does have minimal marketshare, but it's growing. The real problem is Microsoft now owns Skype. How many people would choose Tango over Skype? I can't blame Tango for taking a wait and see approach.
What do you think? Should Tango jump in and make a Windows Phone 8 version?

What about Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 support?
We’re currently watching the Windows Phone 8 / Windows 8 space very closely to see how it takes off before we commit to supporting it.
