Microsoft continues to grow its Windows Phone Marketplace and they have now reached another milestone. The Marketplace now has 100,000 apps. It's not quite Apple numbers, but at least they have broken the six figure barrier. In December the Marketplace had 50,000 apps so it has doubled in about six months. Questions still remain about the quality of all those apps, but Microsoft is clearly making some headway in attracting developers to its platform. All they need now is a top tier phone that competes with the iPhone and some of Samsung's top Android devices spec for spec.
