In an effort to attract more developers to the Windows Phone platform, Microsoft has created an API for iOS developers to port their apps to the WP7 platform. The Windows Phone Marketplace has recently passed 15,000 apps, but that is nowhere near the number of apps that Apple boasts. With the new API, iOS developers can expand their base and port their apps to the Windows Phone platform. Microsoft is also taking suggestions from developers on how the API can be improved.
