Sprint taking orders on first Windows Phone 7 device

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 21, 2011

Sprint is now taking orders for its first Windows Phone 7 device. The HTC 7 Pro is now the Sprint Arrive, and can be purchased for $200 at Sprint. Interestingly, Amazon is offering the Arrive for $50. Talk about undercutting the carrier. Obviously these prices are with a 2 year contract.

Now the big question is who wants a Windows Phone 7 handset these days? We're rooting for Microsoft, but the truth is Windows Phone 7 is really lacking compared to Android and iOS. It seems a bit boring with the text-based navigation. We're looking forward to the next version when Microsoft will hopefully bring their "A" game.
