HTC to launch WP7 device in October

There have been numerous reports that HTC will launch a Windows Phone 7 device in October. The device is supposed to hit Europe on October 21. Now an HTC exec has added a little more fuel to the rumor.

In an interview with Gulfnews, HTC's Regional Director for the Middle East/North Africa, Mohammad Kais Zribi, said "We will be launching Windows Phone 7 handsets next month and we will be concentrating on Android and Windows segments."

So there you have it folks. Windows Phone 7 is on the way very soon.
