HP is moving full steam ahead with its plans for Palm's OS. Despite recently saying that Palm may become a "sub-brand," the company is moving ahead with plans to put webOS on a variety of devices including smartphones, and netbooks.
VP Todd Bradley said on CNBC today that HP would "exclusively use its webOS software" for smartphones. That means HP is officially dropping Windows Phone 7 from their future plans. HP has had a long standing relationship with Microsoft as the company has had several Windows-based phones, but it looks like they really are doubling down on webOS. That is fantastic news for Palm fans.
