Steve Ballmer talks mobile at D8

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 03, 2010

Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer showed up at the D8 conference to talk about all things Microsoft, but in this video clip he talks about mobile. Ballmer admits that Microsoft was ahead in the smartphone game, and now they are way behind. He admits that Microsoft "missed a whole cycle" and are now trying to find their way back.

Ballmer blames several changes they had to make in personnel at Microsoft for the fact that they dropped off the face of the earth in regards to mobile. The mobile team will now report directly to Ballmer, and he says they have some "pretty good" things coming in mobile.
