Microsoft announces the Kin

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 13, 2010

What in the world? I thought Microsoft was launching Windows Phone 7? Well, they've decided to develop another phone targeted at younger users and aimed at sharing. Meet the Kin. The Kin integrates the full Zune client and is focused at a smaller group of users.

"KIN is a new social experience from Microsoft Corp. that combines the phone, online services and the PC. Designed for the socially connected consumer, and with unique features such as the Spot, the Loop and Studio, KIN helps you navigate your social life. It brings together who and what you love in a whole new way."

The phone comes in two flavors, the Kin One, and Kin Two. Will this succeed? Stay tuned...
