Facebook 1.2 for Windows Mobile released

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 22, 2010

Facebook 1.2 for Windows Mobile was released, but not it appears that it has been pulled. The Unwired reported that users who accessed the Marketplace app were prompted about the new release. Now it appears that the app no longer shows up in the US versions of the Marketplace.

"Was Facebook v1.2 released by mistake? As mentioned above, it was available from the US English Windows Marketplace for Mobile only but as it looks now, neither the new v1.2 nor the older v1.1 are available on the US English Marketplace anymore while other Marketplaces, like the German or French are still show (the older) Facebook version. Furthermore, if you upgraded to v1.2 from Microsoft's Marketplace for Mobile but uninstalled Facebook 1.2 for any reasons, it's still listed as a previously download application but trying to reinstall it causes an error."

Looks like there was some issue with Facebook 1.2 for Windows Mobile. Let's hope it's back in the Marketplace soon.
