Android to surge, Windows Mobile barely hanging on

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - January 05, 2010

According to a new survey Android is about to really shake things up in the mobile world. ChangeWaveResearch's chart shows that Android will come on strong and provide real competition to Apple's iPhone, but Windows Mobile is barely even on the chart. Even Palm's webOS is neck and neck with Windows Mobile according to these charts.

ChangeWave surveyed 4068 consumers in December to come up with their numbers. "21% of those planning to buy a smart phone in the next 90 days say they'd prefer to have the Android OS on their new phone." That's a significant jump for Android.

Where oh where is Windows Mobile 7? Microsoft is sitting on the sidelines not paying attention or something.
