News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - September 02, 2009

Sony has officially announced the Xperia X2. The X2 is the successor to the Sony Xperia X1 which had disappointing sales. The X2 will ship with Windows Mobile 6.5 bringing Flash support, Microsoft's app store, and the Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

The X2 is due out sometime in Q4 of this year. The Xperia X2 sports a 8.1 megapixel camera, and 4GB microSD card. It also comes with 13 pre-loaded "panels" as they've changed the Windows Mobile skin.
