Sprint to release Windows Mobile 6.1 Treo 800w

Rumors of a new Sprint Treo 800w have been around for a couple of years now. With the recent announcement of a new version of Windows Mobile (6.1) comes word that Sprint will release a Palm Treo 800w running the new Windows Mobile.

The new Treo is expected to have WiFi, Bluetooth and a 320x320 resolution. It is also expected to include GPS and a 2 megapixel camera.

No word on what the new Treo will cost but it is expected to be available before the end of summer.
