News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 22, 2008

Samsung Europe has confirmed that the much anticipated Samsung SGH-i780 is launching this week. The Samsung SGH-i780 is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone with an interesting twist. The i780 includes a mouse pointer that works with an optical joystick. This is the first Windows Mobile smartphone that we've seen with this feature.

European carriers Orange UK and Telefónica Movistar will carry the i780 and other carriers are sure to follow.

Prices for the i780 will depend on the country but it should be around 549 Euros.
