News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 21, 2008

It's about time HP launched some new iPaq smartphones. HP has added two new Windows Mobile phone to its lineup. The Data Messenger and Voice Messenger phones were launched yesterday.

The Data Messenger is a touchscreen slider while the Voice messenger is non-touchscreen candy bar style. Both phones are targeted at business users and lack the high-end features normally found on consumer phones, but HP has added a cool optical mouse pointer similar to Samsung phones.

Both phones will run Windows Mobile and are quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (900/1900/2100 MHz).

The Data Messenger and Voice Messenger are expected to retail for $665 and $532 respectively. They are expected to launch in November on Vodafone.
