HTC’s First WiMax Device

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 10, 2008

Wimax isn't really out in force yet but HTC isn't waiting around. Check out the first HTC WiMAX-enabled Windows Mobile device, the HTC T8290. It looks pretty similar to the Touch HD but it includes WiMAX. The T8290 features a large WVGA (800 x 480) 3.8" screen, internal GSM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, and a digital camera. Of course it runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

No word yet on which carriers in which country will sell this one.
