Palm has announced a Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition update for the Palm Treo 750 customers in Australia. Australia's Hutchison 3 customers can download the free update starting in mid-August. Starting September, other customers will be allowed to download the update.

There is no official word on when the update will be available in the US. Brighthand is reporting that AT&T customers will get the update in September.
