Alltel has launched its version of the HTC PPC6800. There is some confusion on whether it ships with Windows Mobile 5 or WM6. The official word from Alltel is that it ships with Windows Mobile 5 but the pictures seem to suggest otherwise. Rumors also suggest there will be a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 but there is no official word on the either.

The PPC6800 comes with WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, and EV-DO. PPC6700 users will be happy to upgrade to the PPC6800.
