HP iPAQ 510 Voice Messenger Windows Mobile 6 Phone

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 21, 2007

HP has started selling the iPAQ 510 Voice Messenger although no formal announcement was made. This is HP's first smartphone running Windows Mobile 6. The iPAQ 510 Voice Messenger is not offered by any carriers, but is available at several online retailers. You can purchase an unlocked version that will work on any GSM carrier (AT&T & T-Mobile in the US). HP is selling it for $320.

The iPAQ 510 has a numberpad instead of a built-in keyboard and runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard. There is no touchscreen so all you Pocket PC Phone users will be frustrated.

The 510 is a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE. It has WIFI and Bluetooth but does not support 3G.
