Sprint PPC-6800 delayed until October

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 09, 2007

It looks like the rumors that Sprint would launch a PPC 6800 this May will not pan out. Although the rumors may have been true at one time, it appears that Sprint will hold off until October to release a PPC6800. According to engadget mobile, Sprint is waiting to release the new Pocket PC so they can release it with Windows Mobile 6 installed, rather than having to issue an update. They also want to be able to support EVDO Rev. A right out of the gate. That seems like a reasonable reason to delay the release, but October? Can't we aim for August?
