Samsung Announces i780 Windows Mobile PPC

Samsung has officially announced the i780 smartphone. The i780 is a Windows Mobile PPC with a QWERTY keyboard and WM6 Professional. It has a 2.55" TFT touch screen with 320x320 resolution, 256MB of ROM, and 128MB of RAM.

Interestingly it includes an optical joystick, allowing for 360’ navigation on menus with a mouse pointer. It allows users to be connected at all times through HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbps) and 802.11b/g WiFi. It is equipped with A-GPS, while a full navigation package is also available.
