Sprint to Offer Treo 700wx Very Soon

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 21, 2006

As the rumors have suggested Sprint is expected to begin selling its version of the Treo 700wx very soon. Some reports claim business customers will get the device as soon as August 27 with retail stores selling it on the 31st. Other rumors suggest the retail version will be available on September 3.

Brighthand has its hands on what appears to be the Sprint Treo 700wx's official data sheet. Check the link below for details.

While a Sprint representative told pdaBlast! that there will be several upgrades over Verizon's Treo 700w, the most significant upgrade is likely to be the inclusion of 64 MB of RAM. The original 700w had 32 MB.

We were hoping that the new device would have a better display than the original Treo 700w but it will apparently have a 240-by-240-pixel touchscreen above the QWERTY keyboard. That is disappointing.
