HTC is rumored to be developing a new slim phone to compete head to head with the Motorola Q and Samsung i320. According to Smartphone Thoughts, the new device is being developed under the codename Excalibur. The Excalibur will be a quad-band GSM/GPRS device that will also include WiFi.
The most interesting feature that the Excalibur is reported to include is a jog strip. Instead of using a jog dial to scroll, users will slide their fingers across a jog strip located on the right side of the screen. The jog stripp wil even activate the Start Menu, or go back, if you touch it in the right spot.
