HTC Artemis GPS Smartphone Photo Review

Hardware Reviews - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 24, 2006

The HTC Artemis is a GPS-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone with a 2 megapixel camera. GPS Navigation is built in with integrated GPS and the new TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 application. It also sports an FM radio with the supplied headset.

MobilityToday has a gallery of pictures of this new upcoming device. You can see the camera and a Blackberry-like jog ball for on-screen navigation.

Although the Artemis will include Bluetooth, a 2 MP camera, GPS, it runs on a 200MHz processor. That is pretty slow these days. Also, this phone will not have a QWERTY keyboard included so texting will not be as easy as with the Blackberry or Treo.
