Treo 700 Running Windows?

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 19, 2005

In the last few months there have been rumors of Palm releasing a version of the Treo that runs Windows Mobile. Today SmartphoneDubai.com has posted this picture that suggests the new device would be called the Treo 700, and would run Windows Mobile 5.0 (Magneto). Is it true? Will there be a Treo that runs Windows Mobile? Maybe, but it probably won't look like this.

A reader over at Gizmodo pointed out that the antenna seems to have been cropped from the picture, but the shadow it cast still remains. Looks like someone wasn't paying close attention when trying to bogus this picture. Oh well, Treo users can still dream.
