Orange Launches SPV C550 Smartphone

Orange has officially launched the SPV C500 smartphone. The SPV C500 phone comes pre-loaded with Orange's Music Player which links to the network's music download store. The songs are encoded in AAC Plus format, but can also play MP3 and WAV tracks, along with MPEG 4 video.

The C500 contains a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. The screen displays 64,000 colors. It also offers Bluetooth and is a tri-band (900/1800/1900) GSM/GPRS device.
