Another Axim X50 ROM Update from Dell

Dell has posted another ROM update for the Axim X50 line of handhelds. Users can download the ROM update from Dell's web site. The update is for both the X50 models (QVGA screen) and the X50v,(VGA screen).

According to Dell's web site the update does the following:

  • Improves the power-on mechanism.
  • Enhances the system robustness when changing the memory frequency

    This ROM update can be downloaded using the link below. Once at Dell's Support web site the update is found under "System and Configuration Utilities."
