The TomTom Car Kit plugs into your car's cigarette lighter socket or can be wired directly into its electrical system. Whenever your Pocket PC's in the cradle, it gets a power recharge. A GPS receiver can also be connected to the TomTom Car Kit for recharging and linking to your Pocket PC.

The TomTom Car Kit is incredibly versatile and provides many mounting options so you can choose the one that best suits you and your vehicle. It can be installed permanently on your dashboard or simply attached to the windscreen.

The TomTom Car Kit does away with connecting and disconnecting various wires to your Pocket PC every time you take it in or out of the car. It's neat and tidy too. The wires to the power source and GPS receiver are positioned discreetly at the back of the unit and can be hidden from view or fed directly into the dashboard. Now just slide your Pocket PC in or out of the cradle and you're ready to go! To power your TomTom Car Kit you can use the cigarette lighter adapter or the direct car power cable (12-24v).
