Rayman Ultimate: Console Gaming on the Pocket PC

Software Reviews - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 04, 2004

Impressions
Gameloft took on a very bold undertaking when they decided to bring Rayman to life on the Pocket PC. They have a host of other titles which are very popular, but this is an undertaking of a much larger scale. Gameloft would now be challenged not only with the task of bringing a great game to market, but they must also realize that the work they would be doing would be judged against the console version of the game.

It is my opinion that Gameloft did a great job in porting the original console hit to the Pocket PC. The graphics are amazing, the sound is excellent, and the controls are wonderful. I go through a lot of games, and only a select handful truly amaze me. Gameloft's Rayman Ultimate port for the Pocket PC is one of those rare titles which really shows off the gaming power of the Pocket PC.

If you're a fan of console games I would definitely recommend giving Rayman Ultimate a try. Click Here for more info or to download a demo.
