T-mobile Windows Mobile Upgrade Available

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 24, 2004

It has been an on again, off again relationship between T-mobile and the Windows Mobile 2003 upgrade for Pocket PC Phone edition users. T-mobile posted the upgrade on their web site, but then took it down soon after. We've been waiting a few weeks for the upgrade to reappear on their web site and it has finally been posted.

This upgrade will allow the Pocket PC Phone Edition to have "always-on" wireless data connection to the Internet. This has been a hot request for current Pocket PC Phone Edition users.

The upgrade will also add Windows Media Player 9, improved SMS, and call muting. New separate volume controls for the phone ringer volume and the Pocket PC's system volume is also included in the upgrade.
