Motorola MPx220 Coming in June?

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 09, 2004

Digitimes has reported on some new Motorola phones coming down the pike. What is interesting is the article's speculation that the new MPx220 Smartphone will appear at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2004.

Many people were speculating that the new MPx220 would appear sometime in March but it appears it may be delayed until June.

Here's a clip:

"Motorola is also getting ready to replace its Windows Smartphone 2002-based MPx200 with the Smartphone 2003-based MPx220. Although many websites last year reported that this model would be available at the end of the first quarter, sources suggest that Chi Mei Communication Systems (CMCS) will begin volume shipments at the end of the second quarter. Apart from the newer operating system, the MPx220 will offer a built-in digital camera and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. CMCS also manufactures the V690 and V878 handsets for Motorola."
