Gateway Delays (Scraps?) Planned PDA

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 12, 2003

Several enthusiast web sites are reporting today that Gateway has either indefinitely delayed or scrapped their plans to launch a PDA. Some sites were told there was a delay while pdabuzz was told, "The delay is primarily due to missing a rather limited launch window. As the company continues to transform itself from a PC vendor to a Branded Integrator, Gateway's mobile products team is refocusing its efforts and resources in other core areas." This seems to indicate more than a delay.

In any case, don't look for the Gateway PDA anytime soon.
