Acer has announced that it will launch a new PDA, the n10, priced at about $288 US in Taiwan. The product, to be launched in April, will target the medium-range to low-end markets.
According to the company, the n10 is geared toward the younger generation with its fashionable looks and affordable price. The model will offer eBook reader, embedded games, photo viewer, video player and MP3 player, in addition to the Microsoft Applications already on board.
The n10 also comes equipped with Secure Digital (SD)/MultiMedia Card (MMC) and CompactFlash (CF) Type I/II dual expansion slots, which provide users with storage and peripheral options.
This PDA will be released in Taiwan. No word on when it might be released int he US.
