New HPC Device from NEC?

Rumors are flying about a new HPC from NEC. As you know the HPC form factor was gone since HP dumped the Jornada 720 line. Now several sources are reporting a possible new HPC from NEC later this year.

The NEC MobilePro 900 will reportedly include the HPC 2000 operating system, a StrongARM processor, CompactFlash and PC Card slots, It will have a VGA screen, USB and IR ports and a modem. Rumor has it that it will also include Microsoft's .NET technology.

Pricing is unknown at this time but it is expected to be in the same area as the HP 720.
