When it comes to seeking out new devices the FCC has proven to be an invaluable informant. Once again the famed FCC has leaked information about a device coming down the pipe that is sure to turn a few heads. Information obtained from the FCC website reveals a Samsung smartphone in development.
The phone, the SCH-I600, is said to be running Microsoft's Smartphone 2002 Operating System. This system, while similar to the famed Pocket PC 2002 OS, has many differences. Among the biggest differences is the lack of a touchscreen/stylus for navigation. Two programs which come as a part of the Pocket PC Operating System: Pocket Work and Pocket Excel are not included as a part of the Smartphone OS.
