"Joey" Pocket PC Phone Announced

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 07, 2002

Carrier Devices is advertising a Pocket PC phone on their web site. It looks like they'll be offering the same phone that Voicestream is currently offering but they are branding it as "Joey."

The phone comes with a 206 mhz strong arm risc processor and will run Pocket PC 2002.

It looks like they are also offering two versions, a 900/1800mhz or 900/1900mhz device which means they plan to market this phone in the US and Europe. The phone has a 32 bits data bus and will have 32mb of ROM and 32 or 64mb of RAM.

They don't have much more on their web site right now but stay tuned.
