Pocket LOOX Coming to America

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 02, 2002

When Fujitsu first announced the Pocket LOOX there was a lot of anticipation for the device, both in the US and overseas. Unfortunately for American consumers Fujitsu had decided to keep the LOOX out of the US market. Apparently there has been a change of heart, and the LOOX 600 will now see it's way onto US store shelves.

The LOOX was one of the first devices to come out using a 400 MHz XScale processor. The LOOX 600 features 64MB of RAM and integrated SD and CF slots. In addition the LOOX has integrated Bluetooth. An add-on module allows for GPRS and GSM connectivity.

Expect the LOOX to hit store shelves around Thanksgiving. No pricing information is currently available.
